Beowulf and Wiglaf share the moral qualities of an epic
hero in such ways. A hero is often a man that is usually of
divine source. A hero can be found in many different forms.
There are certain characteristics that make up a hero. Some
of those characteristics are someone who is endowed with
great courage, loyalty, consent, strength, and someone who
is noted for special achievement in a particular range.

Wiglaf is a model of
self-control, determined to act in a way that he believes is
right. Beowulf and Wiglaf just does what is right. Both
share the unique idea that fighting is to help and not
worrying about weather you are going to die or not. Both
cared enough about protecting there people. Wiglaf showed,
when he stayed, that he was a brave man and encouraged
enough to have faith like Beowulf.
