As an answer to the original question of whether or not nickel successfully disproves the reverse discrimination argument, I would have to say no. Both Cowen and Taylor aided me in understanding why Nickel's arguments failed, as they both disproved one. I am not saying that I support the reverse discrimination argument; merely that Nickel's argument doesn't prove it wrong.
